These terms govern your use of apprentitrips.com and the apprenticeships you book through us. By booking, you agree to them. We have kept them plain. If anything is unclear, email us before you book.
Who we are
Apprenti Trips connects curious travellers with real working hosts: makers, growers, artisans and other practitioners who open their working lives for a few days. We arrange and coordinate your apprenticeship. The host delivers the experience itself.
Booking and payment
You reserve and pay through this site, in US dollars, per person unless stated otherwise. As soon as your booking comes through, we confirm your exact dates with the host within 48 hours. If we cannot confirm, you receive a full refund.
What is included
Each apprenticeship lists what is included. Unless stated, the price does not cover flights, ground transport, visas, travel insurance or personal expenses.
Your responsibilities
- Carry valid travel documents and check the visa requirements for your destination.
- Hold travel insurance that covers trip cancellation and emergency medical care.
- Tell us before booking about any health condition that affects your participation, so we can check it with the host.
- Follow the host's safety instructions, and treat the host, their family and their work with respect.
The hosts
Hosts are independent. We meet and vet every host in person, but they run their own workshops in their own way, and some details shift with weather, season or circumstance. We will always tell you what to expect.
Changing or cancelling
Our Cancellation and Refund Policy sets out the full terms for changing your dates, cancelling, and what happens if we or the host have to cancel. Please read it before you book.
Risk and liability
Apprenticeships can involve tools, heat, animals, uneven terrain and physical activity. You take part voluntarily and accept the ordinary risks involved. To the extent the law allows, Apprenti Trips is not liable for injury, loss or damage arising from an apprenticeship, from a host, or from events outside our control. Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot be limited by law.
Photography
We sometimes take photographs or video during apprenticeships for our own use. Tell us in advance if you would prefer not to appear.
Our content
The words and images on this site belong to us or to our hosts. Please do not reuse them without permission.
Your privacy
We handle your personal information as described in our Privacy Policy.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The version on this page when you book is the one that applies to your booking.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Panama, where Apprenti Trips is based.
