A working tango couple in Buenos Aires.
Tango is not a routine. It is an improvised conversation between two people, in a dialect that you only learn by being in the room. Buenos Aires is where the dialect was made, and where it is still spoken every night.
Your hosts teach by day and dance at the milongas by night. You join their rhythm.
What you will do
Class, practica, milonga, repeat.
Daytime is technique: walking, embrace, axis, lead-and-follow. Evening is the practica or the milonga. You will dance with strangers under the watchful guidance of your hosts.

Who it is for
This is not for tourists. It is for the most curious of minds, the restless ones who come alive when the world opens from the inside.
Open to all levels including absolute beginners. The evenings run late (milongas often start at midnight). Bring comfortable shoes and a willingness to be physically close to a stranger.

Do I need experience?
No. Our hosts work with adults of all levels, including absolute beginners. What matters is curiosity, presence, and willingness to slow down.
When do I pay?
Never on inquiry. You submit your request, we confirm availability within 48 hours, and only then do we share a quote and payment link. Inquiring is free.
What if my dates change?
Date changes are flexible up to 60 days before your start date, no charge. Inside 60 days we work case by case with the host. We have never refused a reasonable change.
I am traveling solo, is that fine?
Yes. Most tango apprentices come alone. The milongas are designed to let strangers dance with each other.
Is travel insurance included?
No. We require apprentices to carry their own travel insurance covering trip cancellation and emergency medical care. We can recommend trusted providers on request.
